I'll bet you went in it on purpose, just for the experience!

I thought about it! But fortunately I hit a(nother) poor
approach. :-)

I got out in one but went right across the green onto the road, then 3 back
so you did all right.

I have always thought, speaking tongue in cheek, that these Scots
bunkers are quite over-rated.
Now if you want to see a bunker, that also doubles as a small open cast
quarry, then look no further than here.

Now that's a bunker.

He spoke with a certain what-is-it in his voice, and I
could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far
from being gruntled.

Quite nice indeed!

I once thought that the "Copacabana" hole in Thun/Switzerland has an
impressive bunker (enter the coordinates 46.749567,7.599297 into google
maps),
but this one outdrives it by lenghts: coordinates 45.426442,10.705079
(Paradiso del Garda golf course at the Lago di Garda)

Ciao,

Paul
