Think I may have sent a blank post, apologies.
Does anyone regrip their own clubs, could you recommend a type and
supplier?
I have had mine regripped in the past and am not very happy with the
quality of the grips fitted so have decided to do them myself.
Watched a Youtube offering and it doesn't seem to be rocket science :)

Re-gripping isn't that hard to do , thats correct. On the other hand it
isn't very expensive either, I mean the actual work. At my shop I do the
regripping for the same charge as just selling the grip , no added charge
for the work. And if you are not satisfied with the grips, you should have
chosen other ones, I have about 15 different kinds to choose from between 5
and 12 euro's and give advice to every cutomer wich ones he or she should
get done.

Thanks Jan,
Perhaps I should take them to my nearest (private course) pro shop
instead of relying on the shop at the muni I use, they may not keep the
quality of grip required.

Or just buy the grips + tape from e-bay. I always use Lamkin grips, and
fitting them is really easy. If you have a video i wont go into the detail
here....if you need fitting advice more than happy to provide it.

Just curious, is regripping that expensive in the UK, golfequipment is very
cheap compared to The Netherlands and Germany, I work in a shop and we can"t
buy for your prices let alone sell it, but regripping is one of the things I
do evrey day, because it makes no sense for people to get the tape, get the
white spirit and do it yourself when all you are saving is about 2 euro's
each, not to mention getting the grips. An average Golf Pride grip , tour
velvet costs about 3 euros and I sell and put them on for 5, Golf pride
Multi compound , costs almost 9 euros , I sell and put them on for 12. Maybe
Dutch people don't want to go to all the hassel for 20 - 40 euros extra on a
whole set.

Greetz Jan, and a very good New Year to all.

Hi Jan.
To be honest in the end as it was just the driver that wanted a new grip
I let the shop (Direct Golf) do it.
They sold the grip (Golf Pride Multi C) for just under £10 and charged
just £1 to fit, which on a quick converter was E12.78.
Obviously If I had shopped around on the net I could have got the grips
cheaper.

Happy New Year.
Cheers
Steve
