Hi everybody,
now winter really has cought us: It has been two years AFAIR since we've
faced more than an inch of snow and temps below -10 Celsius...
This makes my dreams go south again to play some nice golf with a firend of
mine. After Pafos, Cyprus and Agadir, Morokko we chose Skanes, Tunisia
(close to Monastir) this year.
I'd like to put some names on the table and I'm curious to hear your
comments:
There are three courses in Hammamet (Citrus, Yasmine), four between Sousse,
El Kantoui and Monastir (Palm Links, Flamingo) plus one each on Djerba
Island and at Tozeur (Sahara). In the north, there are Karthage, Tabarka
and (new) Gammarth, the latter in a luxury resort.
This combines to 12 times 18 holes, not to count some executive courses.
Thus I won't get around in one week ;-(
What have been your experiences over there, regarding the courses, lodging,
transportation etc.?
Curious regards,
Paul
